Step Two: Fitting gratitude into everyday life

As you attempt to live a life filled with gratitude, one easy way to do so is to add it on to your existing routine. Whatever you normally do in the morning and night, be sure to include a few minutes to think of what makes you feel fortunate. For example, if you have tea every morning, this would be a good connection to make. Sitting down to tea or coffee will soon become a reminder to contemplate what you are thankful for. Some people use opportunities throughout their day to say thank you for blessings of food, shelter, clothing, etc. Whatever it is, it never hurts to add on a moment of gratitude.
