From a Hole in My Life to a Life Made Whole by Janet Kay Teresa is the story of one woman's journey through a life riddled with difficulties. She shares, "There are those who may be held hostage from fears and failures, and are unable to experience the freedom of being themselves. We may be so caught up with self-centeredness that we are in bondage to the worst enemy, ourselves. Some are held captive in marriages and relationships, domestic violence is their warden. Some are prisoners of sin. Perhaps a particular lifestyle has a tight hold on us and we are unable to break free from those ties. There are numerous addictions as well as mental disorders that preside over our lives, and freedom may look bleak or worse, impossible, yet just the belief in freedom will guide us as we continue to fight for it."
